By the time the quads had gotten up, had their baths, and dressed, and the girls and Granny had come downstairs. Phoebe looked at the wall side clock the girls and the quads had given her last year for a birthday present.

Great! It’s 6:45 a.m.andI only need twenty minutes to get to the office. For once, I'll be on time.

They sat around the oval kitchen table gleefully talking about what movie they wanted to watch in the evening.

WWW Questions

I choose four or five books, fiction and non-fiction and start reading. It is a habit. I read a couple of chapters from each of the non-fiction books I've chosen in the morning, and then read the fiction book or books later in the afternoon.  But that varies in accordance with whatever manuscript I am working on at the time.

  1.  I am currently reading Writing in Flow by Susan K. Perry,  A Mind For Murder by P.D. James, Too Heavy A Joke by Chanequa Walker-Barnes, Shifting-The Double Lives of Black Women in America by Charisse Jones and Kumea Shorter-Gooden,
  2. I finished reading  Good Faith by Jane Smiley, Born In Fire, Born In Ice, and Born In Shame by Nora Roberts, Her Perfect Gift by Theodora Taylor,
  3. I'll read Flow by Mihayli Csikszentmihalyi again starting next week, even though I've read it at least ten times. It is kind of like my kick off book  for each year. Then, I'll read Character ARCS by Jordan McColl, How Fiction Works by James Wood and  one fiction work by Nicholas Sparks, The Choice.

Shalom,

Pat Garcia
