WIPpet Wednesday
Hello Everyone,

It is WIPpet Wednesday. I am hanging in there with the A to Z Blog Challenge 2016, and this is our last week. I’m still working on my late responses to my blogs. So, please continue to hang in there with me.

So, it is now time for me to share the books I have read, the books I am reading, and what I plan to read in the future and my WIPpet for this week.

So, here goes:

  • What have I read?

Murder, Madness & Love by Yolanda Renèe – it is a fantastic Thriller, filled with suspense, and it is also the first book in her series featuring Steven Quaid.

  • What am I reading?

Still reading, Judging by Derek Prince and An Unsuitable Job for a Woman by P.D. James.

  • What do I plan to read next?

I Wish You Were Mine by Lauren Layne, Runaway Man by David Handler, and the second book of the Renée series, Memories of Murder.

For my snippet today, out of Just At Dawn, I have 5 paragraphs. (27-20-16-4=5). I hope my creative math is okay.

Background: Kirk exploded over Daniel’s lack of empathy toward Phoebe. Peter, the Human Resources Director and Kirk are in Daniel’s office. The three have been buddies since High School. So, I’m continuing with the meeting.

Snippet:

"Cool it, Kirk. Your anger is not helping the situation," Peter said and turning to Daniel, he observed how his face had paled and his auburn red hair was losing it style as Daniel ran his fingers through it. He didn't look like the Managing Director, but a man who had bumble things up.

"So you didn't get the chance to talk to her at all? I mean, she still doesn't know that you're the father of the quads?"

"No. She came in here with a calm look that riled me, and I forgot all my good intentions."

"Have you ever asked yourself why you and Phoebe fight with each other?" Kirk asked.

"Cause she's got my boys, that's why?" Daniel said forcefully.

Until next Wednesday,

Shalom Aleichem,
